FULL-TIME & PART–TIME POSTDOCTORAL CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY POSITIONS
UDP is a psychodynamically-oriented group practice providing adult, couples, family, and child/adolescent psychotherapy with offices on the Upper West Side and in Tribeca. Founded by Sarah Brennan, PhD, Eugenia Cherkasskaya, PhD, and Max Malitzky, PsyD, UDP emphasizes training and community building with the aim of bringing together clinicians who are passionate about deepening their clinical practice and committed to providing expert psychodynamic treatment to patients across the lifespan and with diverse backgrounds and identities.
The Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at UDP provides extensive supervision in a holistic private practice setting and offers the opportunity to deepen clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas: trauma, personality disorders, LGBTQ+, child/adolescent, and couples and family work. If interested, fellows will also have the option to conduct psychological assessments. We offer individual and group supervision, with the opportunity to work with different clinicians within our practice. In addition to clinical training, fellows will learn the inner workings of a private practice, such as establishing a referral network and dealing with billing and insurance issues. Fellows will have an opportunity to accrue clinical hours towards licensure and upon completion of the fellowship, will have the option to carry patients into their own practice. Didactics will be made available based on the interests and needs of our fellows.
